The extent of the recall of Ferrari’s 458 issues in China were laid bare yesterday when it was revealed that Ferrari are recalling 57 of the models in China due to a fire risk. Ferrari China, based in Shanghai, are reportedly working with the Ministry of Quality Control to make sure the cars are recalled. The recall only affects Ferrari 458′s produced between March 5 and August 25 2010.
Whilst the recall is comparatively small compared to Toyota’s or Honda’s latest recalls, but it does show that Ferrari is making great strides in the Chinese market in terms of sales.
