However, Alan Mulally leave rumor rising again just after couple of days. May 1, Mark Fields will replaceAlan Mulally as CEO of Ford. It is confirmed that Alan Mulally will leave earlier, but outsider still consider about Alan Millay’s last shift.

With Ford new Everest market launching, JMC finally breaks out Ford SUV products authorization. At Beijing Auto Exhibition this year, a new car Everest, which is designed by Pacific- Asian team located in Australia, officiallylaunched exhibition this year as a cross-country SUV. Alan Mulally says “the concept car, Everest will be produced in JMC Tiny Blue plant. And we will introduce more products into JMC product line.”According to relative staff, mass production Everest will launch market in year 2015, and will authorize dealers of Ford for sales.
With concept car Everest officially market introduction, JMC finally actually breaks out Ford SUV limitation. As it known, Ford owns 32% shares of JMC, which is the biggest single stakeholder of JMC. For the last many years, JMC is positioned as commercial car producer. Therefore, Ford does not introduce any passenger car or SUV products into the joint venture.
Marker performance of Commercial car produced by JMC of Ford is good, but JMC still works forwards to cut into passenger car and SVU segments. However, JMC does not own research ability onto passenger car area. The only hope it has is onto Ford. Recently years, WANG Xigao meets Alan Mulally frequently recent years. As introduction of Alan Mulally, the first time he met WANG Xigao, Wang says SUV segment of China has brilliance future.
With negotiation deep down of both sides, Tint Blue Plant of JMC is put into operation in June year 2013. That is the first time Ford tells media about the future SUV segment cooperation with JMC. As it known, JMC found “FORD SUV BUSINESS UNIT” already before the Everest market introduction.
