Gasgoo Munich- Amap, an Alibaba affiliate, has introduced "Shensuan Agent," an AI tool tailored for the EV charging sector. Targeting operators, automakers, and energy firms, the tool offers standardized intelligent decision-making to replace traditional, experience-based operations. It covers key business scenarios, including station site selection, pricing, and capacity allocation.
As domestic charging infrastructure expands, structural problems are surfacing. Core stations often face traffic congestion and long lines, while peripheral sites suffer from low utilization and idle resources. At the same time, price wars have become the norm. Historically, site selection and pricing have lacked standardized data support, leading to subpar returns on investment for some stations. The industry urgently needs to refine its operational efficiency.
Built on Amap's spatial intelligence technology, Shensuan Agent integrates massive travel data, national charging point distribution, and commercial algorithm models. It delivers four core capabilities—traffic insight, intelligent site selection, dynamic pricing, and market analysis—covering the entire lifecycle from initial layout to ongoing operations.

Supporting natural language interaction, the tool allows operators to query the feasibility of building stations in specific areas. In response, the system automatically outputs quantitative analysis—such as traffic trends, demand density, and investment scores—to provide data-driven backing for business decisions.
The tool adopts a tiered service model. For automakers, it offers deep collaboration and private deployment options. For large operators with proprietary technology, the system exposes callable functional modules via the MCP protocol. For local operators, it provides standardized, out-of-the-box services tailored to the technical and operational needs of businesses of all sizes.
Amap Charging has already rolled out several industry products. In the first half of 2025, it launched "eZhanTong" and "ZhuangDianTong," designed for brand clients and small-to-medium operators respectively. The platform now connects over 500 charging brands and more than 450,000 public charging stations, integrating with the networks of several leading automakers. Additionally, Amap's "Instant Charge" feature streamlines the full chain of locating chargers, powering up, and payment, all while maintaining a zero-commission operating model.
A representative from Amap Charging noted that the domestic sector has moved past the era of purely scale-driven construction. The industry's focus is shifting toward precision and efficiency. Building a traceable, standardized decision-making system powered by big data and AI algorithms will be crucial for this transformation, helping to resolve issues such as resource misallocation and disorderly competition.
