Gasgoo Munich-Citing the "Invest in Jiading" WeChat account, Gasgoo reports that the Guoxiang Shi Ji New Energy project officially signed an agreement on May 26 to establish a presence in Jiading.

The project plans to construct a solid-state battery industrial complex in Shanghai, according to the report. The facility will include a headquarters building, a global solid-state battery research institute, pilot and mass production lines, a product exhibition center, and a demonstration station for independent shared energy storage.
The fully automated solid-state battery production line will leverage a comprehensive system driven by automation, intelligence, and precision. Alongside it, a global R&D center base will be established to support long-term technological leadership and production process evolution. This center will focus on four core platforms: advanced materials, cell design, process equipment, and safety testing.
Public records show Guoxiang Shi Ji New Energy Group was founded in September 2016. Headquartered in Shanghai's Lujiazui financial district, the company operates a new energy technology research institute and conversion base in the Shunde High-tech Zone of Guangdong. It is a domestic technology enterprise focused on the R&D and production of solid-state batteries, as well as energy storage system integration.
