Gasgoo Munich- Avatr recently reported May deliveries of 7,336 units.
The Avatr 07L has surfaced in filings from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. According to the company, this new model will be among the first to feature Huawei's Qiankun Smart Driving ADS 5 system.
Separately, Avatr has begun rolling out the AVATR.OS 5.1.2 system update. The upgrade centers on Huawei's Qiankun Smart Driving ADS 4.1.5, adding features such as defensive driving for sharp corners and early warnings for rear-facing vulnerable road users.

Gasgoo recently reported that on May 29, at the Future Mobility Conference, Avatr Technology Chairman Wang Hui delivered a speech. He noted that electrification was the industry's first half, while intelligence is the second. The new-energy sector is now gripped by severe technological competition—extending beyond pricing to product specs, configurations, and ecosystem services—which is straining the industry's health. Domestic auto sales topped 34.4 million units in 2025. However, profit margins stood at just 4.1%. By the first two months of 2026, that figure had slipped further to 2.9%.
"The consensus in the auto world is that over the past three to five years, everyone has been moving in lockstep," he said. "That made cutthroat competition the easiest path forward. It's not just about prices, but also specs and services. Ultimately, though, we aren't squeezing our rivals—we're squeezing our own profits."
"Sales without profit are essentially hollow," Wang stated. "Scale built on price wars is a false prosperity."
