At the early time of this year, some auto companies have been exposed of cheating subsidies by data fraud, and even form a cheating chain. Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Finance and Technology, and National Development and Reform Commission jointly published Announcement on Checking the Application and Popularization on Alternative Energy Vehicles subsequently to comprehensively check the use and management of financial funds, production and use of alternative energy vehicles, by way of self-examination and on-site inspection.
It’s learned that the check aims at alternative energy vehicles obtaining 2013 and 2014 central financial subsidies, and which are submitting the 2015 subsidies, covering all auto production companies, alternative energy vehicle operating companies, renting companies, enterprises and institutions, and other alternative energy vehicle customers.
Currently, the strong subsidies have promoted the high-growth of our alternative energy vehicle market, especially commercial vehicles. Data shows that the production and sales volumes of alternative energy vehicles are 31,266 and 31,772 units in April, increasing 178.3% and 190.6% respectively. The total production and sales volumes all exceed 90,000 units in the first four months, increasing 130%. The alternative energy vehicle subsidy includes national subsidy and local subsidy. In most cities, national subsidies are equal to local subsidies in amounts. Subsidies are the main profits for alternative energy vehicles.
