Mexico's new energy vehicle segment has gained momentum in recent years, driven by rising consumer demand for efficient and sustainable mobility solutions. Within this landscape, compact premium SUVs have emerged as the largest segment, reflecting shifting preferences toward versatile yet environmentally conscious vehicles.
Built on BYD's DM-i super hybrid platform, the Yuan Pro DM-i combines electric driving characteristics with extended range and low fuel consumption. The model delivers a combined driving range of up to 1,045 kilometers under NEDC standards, positioning it to meet both daily commuting and longer-distance travel needs. It also features a suite of advanced intelligent technologies, introducing greater variety into what has historically been a relatively limited plug-in hybrid SUV segment in Mexico.
The rollout of the Yuan Pro DM-i further broadens BYD's coverage in the Mexican market, enabling the company to address a wider range of customer needs and usage scenarios.
