BYD Song DM details unveiled,delivering

SHANGHAI April 14th, 2017 Gasgoo – The hybrid plug-in of BYD Song series,the Song DM is to be launched officially on April 17th.The vehicle gets a 1.5T engine and double motor with a fuel economy of 1.4L/100km.

The plug-in Song DM looks the same as the fuel model and the Chinese character”Song“ on front grille decorated with the blue band highlights its new energy blood.The“542” on D-pillar symbolizes the Song DM’s performance. The size of the vehicle is 4,565/1,870/1,700mm with a wheelbase of 2,660mm.

Inside,the vehicle is equipped with the CarPas multimedia system,360° panoramic image ,PM2.5 clean air package ,the smart connected cloud services,remote driving devices and the ESP,TPMS,EPB systems.

Under the hood,Song DM gets a 1.5T engine and a double motor.It could work under both the HEV and EV modes and deliver a range of 80km. When in the HEV mode, the plug-in gets a power output of 333kw and a torque of 740 Nm and manages 0-100km/h in 4.9sec. In addition, Song DM carries a electric quattro and the fuel efficiency is 1.4L/100km.
