Members of the Canadian Auto Workers union today ratified a three-year contract with Toronto Terminals Railway, the union said in a statement.
Eighty-five percent of workers approved the contract. It includes a wage increase of 2.4 percent in the first year as well as better dental and vision care, the union said. Overtime work provisions were retained, the CAW said in the statement.
The union represents 125 workers at Toronto Terminals Railway. They perform maintenance, track protection and cleaning duties.
