In April, the monthly registrations of the ZEEKR 001, the first and only production model under Geely Auto's premium car brand ZEEKR, reached 2,154 units, sliding 5.2% over the previous month, according to the data compiled by Gasgoo Auto Research Institute.
By the end of April 2022, there had been 16,012 ZEEKR 001s registered across China, 10,446 units were registered in the first four months of this year.
As for ownerships, private users accounted for up to 87.5% of the Jan.-Apr. ZEEKR 001 registrations.
In April 2022, there were six cities whose monthly registrations of the ZEEKR 001 all exceeded 100 units, of which Beijing and Hangzhou stood at the top two places. Ningbo, where ZEEKR's intelligent factory is located, ranked 14th with only 44 units registered.
Aside from Beijing, the two first-tier cities—Shenzhen and Guangzhou—cracked the top 10 city rankings as well, while Shanghai failed to enter the top 15.
Regarding the ZEEKR 001 registrations for the first four months, Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen all broke into the top 4 cities, while Guangzhou occupied the 10th place. Among the top 15 cities, there were 6 provincial capitals, namely, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, and Nanjing.
