Chinese exports growing steadily, CAAM says

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai March 28) - China exported a total of 43,000 vehicles last month, the Beijing News reported today. According to statistics gathered by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), the country exported a total of 256,000 passenger vehicles and 178,000 commercial vehicles, representing a total increase in exports of 63.53 percent from February 2010. Chery Automobiles, remained the top exporter, followed by Changan Automobile, Great Wall Motor, JAC Motor and Dongfeng Motor.

Assistant Secretary-General Zhu Yiping commented that while growth in the export field was steady, imports still rose dramatically, allowing the clear deficit in trade to continue.
