Gasgoo Munich- Desay SV and IAG have forged a strategic partnership. Under the agreement, Desay SV secures exclusive licensing for IAG’s Wharfedale and QUAD hi-fi brands, integrating their core technologies into automotive acoustic systems.

On the execution front, IAG will custom-develop a full-stack, automotive-grade, high-fidelity speaker lineup for Desay SV. Desay SV, for its part, will leverage its strengths in smart cockpit engineering and system-level software integration — syncing acoustic hardware with mainstream cockpit chips, domain controllers, and vehicle-grade communication architectures to bring the system to mass-production readiness.
The two sides will also closely align their engineering teams. Desay SV’s cockpit algorithm specialists and IAG’s European tuning experts will collaborate on a full-spectrum joint calibration — spanning speaker units, physical body structures, spatial audio algorithms, and subjective auditory perception. The goal: tighter integration between smart cockpit acoustics and the underlying hardware and software.
Desay SV already equips automakers with full-stack cockpit acoustic solutions. This partnership aims to accelerate the rollout of international hi-fi brands into vehicles, giving Desay SV fresh leverage to expand its reach in the premium cockpit audio market among major global automakers.
