Built on the Dongfeng Nissan Venuxia VX6 electric SUV platform, the HR1 underwent automotive-grade forward development. Autonomous driving hardware and software were integrated during the architecture design phase and adapted to commercial operation standards. To meet the demands of high-frequency shared mobility, the development team gathered real-world road data across multiple Chinese cities and simulated various driving conditions. The vehicle also completed hundreds of thousands of kilometers of bench durability testing to ensure stability during operations.

In terms of performance, the passenger cabin offers a volume of 3.64 cubic meters, achieving a space utilization rate of 90%. The power battery has passed 146 rigorous tests—including water immersion, fire exposure, and rapid rupture scenarios—meeting the new national battery standards set for 2026. The body features a cage structure reinforced with ultra-high-strength steel. On range, the vehicle delivers a CLTC comprehensive range of 510 kilometers. Its 3C supercharging capability replenishes the battery from 30% to 80% in just 14 minutes and is compatible with most public charging piles.

Dongfeng Nissan brings a standardized system covering R&D, manufacturing, quality control, and service. This framework enhances operational stability, reduces downtime, and boosts fleet availability. With lower power consumption and higher reliability, the vehicle keeps long-term operating costs in check, laying the economic groundwork for commercial Robotaxi deployment.

This delivery marks a milestone for Dongfeng Motor in the field of intelligent connected technology. According to the company, the model's rollout will support the regional automotive industry's transition toward intelligence and electrification. It also aims to serve smart city transportation development and foster advanced mobility capabilities.
