On Jan. 14, Faraday Future (FF) unveiled new feature details for its Super EAI F.A.C.E. (Super Smart Face) system.

According to the company, the Super EAI F.A.C.E. system supports multimodal interaction — voice, gesture and touch — delivering instant responses while anticipating user needs with proactive suggestions and real-time assistance. The display can also be controlled via a mobile app, allowing users to showcase custom artwork, logos, information and even streaming video. As a core part of FF's EAI stack, Super EAI F.A.C.E. is designed to break with the market's uniform, fixed front grilles. Beyond giving each vehicle a unique look — "a thousand cars, a thousand faces" — it equips the car's embodied-intelligence Avatar to perceive and express emotion through its "five senses," turning every vehicle into a gateway for communication with the world.
According to the company, Super EAI F.A.C.E. will be offered as an option on the FX Super One BEV pure-electric variant. Planned core functions for vehicles equipped with the system include:
● Communicate with the vehicle before entry: extend the voice-assistant experience to the outside of the car for quick, natural interactions (for example, checking vehicle status, requesting entry and receiving guidance).
● Personalization via the EAI Avatar: users can set up a personal Avatar, making the vehicle feel more personable rather than just a means of transportation.
● Real-world multimodal perception: combine voice and visual expression to understand context and enable clear, intuitive communication.
● Role-based personalized responses: identify whether the counterpart is the owner, a family member, an authorized guest or a stranger, and respond accordingly.
● LLM-powered "think and act" capability: a large language model reasoning layer parses signals and intent, determines the next step and executes supported functions.
● Scenario-based proactive communication: in preset scenarios (for example, when someone approaches the vehicle), Super EAI F.A.C.E. can initiate a response to reduce uncertainty and improve safety and clarity.
FF says the FX Super One is a First Class EAI-MPV targeting mass-market scale, with official prices in the Middle East starting at 309,000 dirhams (about CNY 598,000). The model offers a spacious cabin and a refined, luxurious interior with premium materials and advanced technologies to boost comfort, plus multi-row seating, ambient lighting and a high-end entertainment system. FX Super One will be all-wheel drive across the range and will come in an AIEV pure-electric version, followed by an AIHER range-extended hybrid.
