Gasgoo.com (Shanghai September 14) - The new Fiat 500 made its official market debut in Amoy, Fujian today, auto.ifeng.com reported today. The 500 comes in three available models, carrying a sticker price between 190,000 and 250,000 yuan ($29,710-$39,092).
The 500 (pictured) combines classic design and modern sensibility into one individual package. The headlight design is among the 500's more catching features.
The 500 is 3.5 meters long, 1.6 meters wide and 1.5 meters high, with a 2.3 meter wheelbase. Those measurements are similar to the Suzuki Alto, and put it in a different class with the Mini Cooper and VW Beetle. The 500 looks to compete with the Smart, Mini Cooper and the future A1 from Audi.

The interior design of the car is very classic, with a three-spoken steering wheel and two-tone color scheme used throughout. Multifunctional buttons on both the driver and passenger sides add to overall convenience. Gauges on the instrument panel also use a retroesque style.
In order to enhance consumer individuality, the 500 comes with 12 different exterior colors choices, nine different interior design color choices and six different wheel types. Even different car stickers and key cases are available.
The version of the 500 imported to China only comes available with a 1.4 L naturally-aspirated gas engine mated to a six-speed continuously variable transmission. The engine makes 102 hp and 133 Nm of torque. The engine makes use of Fiat's MultiAir technology, which helps decrease emissions and maximize fuel economy.
