Just a day earlier, on March 9, the company released a teaser video confirming the Linghui e7 will feature BYD's flash-charging technology, capable of delivering a usable charge in five minutes or a full charge in nine.

The Linghui e7 was officially unveiled last month and has since been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 403rd catalog of road motor vehicle manufacturers and products, with its filing details now public.

According to the MIIT filings, the Linghui e7 retains the overall styling of the BYD e7 but sports the new Linghui badge front and rear. Notably, the charging port has been moved from the front right fender to the rear right side. The vehicle measures 4,780 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,515 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm.

Powering the sedan is a front-mounted single motor available in 100 kW and 130 kW variants. It utilizes a FinDreams lithium iron phosphate (LFP) Blade battery designed for a 600,000-kilometer cycle life—aligning with typical commercial operating periods. Range options stand at 450 km and 550 km under CLTC standards, while a wide-temperature heat pump air conditioning system helps reduce energy consumption in winter.

Beyond the e7, the regulatory filing also revealed details on three other Linghui models: the e5, e9, and M9. The e5, positioned as a rival to the Qin PLUS EV, measures 4,805 mm long, 1,837 mm wide, and 1,530 mm tall, with a 2,718 mm wheelbase. Fitted with a 100 kW motor, it targets the entry-level ride-hailing sedan segment.

The Linghui e9 takes aim at the Han series, offering dimensions of 4,995 mm by 1,940 mm by 1,495 mm and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. Available with 135 kW or 150 kW motors, it is designed to meet the demands of mid-to-high-end commercial operations.

As the only plug-in hybrid in the initial lineup, the Linghui M9 boasts substantial dimensions—5,200 mm by 1,970 mm by 1,805 mm—and a 3,045 mm wheelbase, balancing the spatial requirements of ride-hailing with fuel efficiency.
