Shanghai (Gasgoo)- AION, the electric vehicle brand under GAC AION, recently revealed that the AION UT, its third global-oriented model, will officially hit the market in February 2025. The new model is scheduled to commence pre-sales in January 2025. Upon its release, the AION UT will compete with models such as the BYD Dolphin, the Geely Xingyuan, and the Wuling Bingo.

In terms of exterior design, the AION UT features a classic closed-off front grille. At the front, the lower section is equipped with a large intake and the irregular-shaped headlights, combined with 2x2 matrix LED fog lights on either side of the front bumper.
As for the side profile, the AION UT boasts a smooth and rounded waistline design, incorporating semi-hidden door handles and low-resistance wheels. The model measures 4,270mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 1,575mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750mm. While it is classified as a small-sized all-electric car, the vehicle boasts a wheelbase typically found in larger compact cars.
At the rear, the AION UT follows the rounded design style, paired with the taillight design well complementing the front fog lights, presenting a compact visual effect.

Inside, the AION UT adopts the brand's signature design style, with refreshing color schemes. The model comes equipped with an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch floating central touchscreen. Besides, its smart infotainment system supports smartphone connectivity options such as HiCar, CarLink, and CarPlay, offering a convenient experience for passengers. Additionally, the vehicle features a 440L trunk, which can expand to 1,600L with the rear seats folded down.
Regarding power performance, the AION UT will be powered by a 100kW electric motor, enabling a top speed of 150km/h. Besides, the model will be equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery produced by Yinpai Battery Technology.
