Gasgoo Munich- Hongqi and Unity China have deepened their partnership. On April 26, the automaker and the real-time 3D content platform signed a new agreement focusing on three pillars: debuting forward-looking designs, end-to-end R&D, and ecosystem building. By combining Hongqi's engineering and mass-production capabilities with Unity's Tuanjie Engine 3D real-time rendering technology, the pair aims to elevate the smart cockpit experience.

At the launch, the partners unveiled a forward-looking design for the next-generation AIOS. The core concept centers on an AI-driven particle expression style that spans full-scenario interactions—from voice assistants to desktop interfaces and applications—all aimed at achieving a seamless unity between visual design and operational logic.
On the R&D front, the plan is to build a complete closed loop from design to engineering implementation. Together, they will define the interaction paradigm for the next-generation AI operating system and develop AI and 3D development tool platforms alongside AIGC asset pipelines. This effort is designed to boost efficiency from creative concept to engine execution, solidifying the technical foundation of Hongqi's smart cockpits.
Beyond R&D, the partnership will expand into the digital intelligence ecosystem. The companies are exploring industry-first collaborations, including in-car gaming, to build an integrated digital experience that connects the vehicle, the user, and the environment—ultimately enriching the digital life of passengers inside the cabin.
Through this collaboration, Hongqi has established proprietary, forward-looking engineering capabilities within its underlying technology architecture. Looking ahead, the automaker plans to continue opening up its resources, transforming these innovations into shared industry insights to drive the overall advancement of the smart cockpit sector.
