Gasgoo Munich- On Jan. 16, Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, revealed the company plans to launch Qiankun ADS5, HarmonySpace 6, and a next-generation digital chassis engine XMC in 2026. Technical details will be unveiled ahead of the 2026 Beijing Auto Show.
Notably, Huawei has initiated the phased rollout of Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4.1 for vehicles in its HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility family.
According to the company, ADS V4.1 delivers multiple safety upgrades. It adds eAES anti-sandwich functionality to predict rear-approaching risks and prevent rear-end collisions, while enhanced eAES performance ensures all-weather protection. The system also improves driver assistance capabilities, offering more precise support on sharp turns and at intersections. If a driver suddenly becomes incapacitated, the vehicle automatically pulls over and calls for help. Hands-off warnings are now real-time, triggering a safe pull-over if ignored, and the system can maintain stability even during extreme events like a tire blowout.

Meanwhile, a new LCoS dual-focal plane AR-HUD is set to debut on the updated AITO M9, while new sensor hardware will launch on both the AITO M9 and the Zunjie S800.
Separately, Li Wenguang, president of Huawei's Intelligent Driving Solution product line, disclosed that cumulative R&D investment in Qiankun Intelligent Driving has reached 50 billion yuan. As of Dec. 31, 2025, the system has been installed in 1.4 million vehicles.
