Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo reported on April 26 that Kinetix AI—an angel-round portfolio company of Bluebird Intelligent Control—hosted its "GIFTED" launch event, officially unveiling "KAI," a full-size humanoid robot with 115 degrees of freedom. Debuting via an innovative "robot dialogue" format, the robot marks a pivotal step in moving embodied intelligence from the laboratory into real-world scenarios.

KAI features 115 degrees of freedom across its body and dexterous hands with 36 degrees of freedom each, offering a range of motion that rivals a real human for fine grasping and compliant interaction. It is powered by a 1.7kWh semi-solid-state battery supporting three hours of continuous dual-arm operation, with a load capacity nearing 20kg. Additionally, full-body tactile skin equipped with 18,000 sensing points detects touches as light as 0.1N, ensuring safe and natural close-range collaboration.
Kinetix AI’s world model system has formed a closed-loop structure. In addition to the main model, the system includes an action module and an evaluation module. The action module generates candidate moves based on the current state and sends them to the base model, which predicts future states. The evaluation module then assesses the trajectory's value—judging task progress and contact safety.
