Li Yunfei Reveals BYD's Driver-Assistance Installed Base Exceeds 2.85 Million Units

Gasgoo Munich- Li Yunfei, general manager of BYD's brand and public relations, revealed figures on April 15. The total installed base of BYD models equipped with driver-assistance functions now exceeds 2.85 million units. Meanwhile, vehicles featuring the "God's Eye" system generate over 180 million kilometers of driving data daily.

BYD disclosed that sales of models with driver-assistance capabilities hit 129,610 units in March. Additionally, cumulative sales of models equipped with BYD's God's Eye or Huawei's Qiankun systems surpassed 2.85 million units as of March 31, 2026.

For context, BYD Group previously released its overall March sales figures. Data shows the group's total sales reached 300,222 vehicles, with passenger cars accounting for 295,693 units.

BYD's multi-brand matrix contributed across the board in March. The Dynasty and Ocean series moved 262,327 units to cement dominance in the mass market. Fang Cheng Bao, aimed at personalization, saw sales climb to 25,926 vehicles. The luxury brand Denza posted sales of 7,133 units. Meanwhile, Yangwang, the ultra-luxury marque, delivered 307 vehicles.

In cumulative terms, BYD Group's total sales for the first quarter of 2026 reached 700,463 vehicles. During this period, cumulative overseas sales of passenger cars and pickups stood at 319,751 units.
