Matikon Automotive Systems (Taicang) Co., Ltd. was formerly known as fischer Automotive Systems (Taicang) Co., Ltd., which was established in 2008. The company was acquired by Mutares, a German-listed private equity group, in 2024. This was a key step in its corporate transformation. As a high-tech enterprise with a registered capital of 10.3065 million euros and over 200 employees, the firm specializes in the design, production, and service of high-end automotive functional components.

With strong technical expertise, the company has long served international luxury brands and recently expanded into the supply chains of major domestic automakers. Its core portfolio includes air vents, cup holders, and multi-function storage systems. The newly launched smart cockpit project aligns with sector growth and focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of high-end components for new-energy vehicles.

Upon reaching full capacity, the project is expected to produce 2 million sets of smart cockpit components annually. The launch diversifies Taicang's NEV parts ecosystem, strengthens local cooperation with German firms, and supports the "One Road, One Chain" automotive strategy. It bolsters supply chain synergy across the Yangtze River Delta.
