Mitsubishi to establish new Chinese management company

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai March 23) - Mitsubishi Motors China announced that it will be opening a new management company in Shanghai next month, the Beijing Times reported today. The company hopes to use the new branch to further strengthen its management system in China.

The new company, which will go by the name of Mitsubishi Motors Management (China) Co., Ltd., was registered in late December of last year. Mitsubishi has invested a total of 30 million yuan ($4.58m) and has currently hired 40 staff members. Konishi Masahide, current executive officer for Mitsubishi Motor Sales, will assume the position of executive officer, while Koga Masazumi will take the role of president.

Mitsubishi stated that the new venture will set new standards for the automobile giant's technology and quality management in China.
