New model-year Haima Happin to make Chinese market debut next week

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 1) - The 2012-model year Haima Happin will make its official Chinese market debut next Monday, autohome.com.cn reported today. The new Happin boasts several upgrades from its predecessor. It will be priced between 60,000 and 70,000 yuan ($9,457-$11,033).

The 2012 Happin (pictured) shares the same measurements as the previous model. They both measure 4.37 m long, 1.69 m wide and 1.41 m tall, and sport a wheelbase of 2.61 m.

The new Happin sports many new features, including Bluetooth compatibility, USB ports, a tire pressure monitoring system and parking sensors. The Happin retains the two-tone scheme from the previous model, while moving around the seats to make the interior more spacious.

The 2012 Happin is equipped with a 1.5 L engine producing up to 112 hp and 147 Nm of torque. It is driven by a five-speed manual transmission.
