Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 13th)– Data shows that the number of personal quota applicants for alternative energy vehicles reaches 16,246 in this period, a consecutive third period higher than 10,000 this year.
22,466 personal quotas are configured in the previous two periods. According to plan, the total quotas are 60,000 in 2016, with 51,000 personal quotas, 3,000 unit quotas and 6,000 operation quotas. Only 28,534 personal quotas and 42 unit quotas are left for configuration in the third period. It’s estimated that the configuration of personal quotas will be completed in the fourth period.
Announcement shows the number of personal applicants and delaying applicants for ordinary personal car reaches 2,753,518 in this period, increasing 63,061 than the last period. In fact, the lot winning rate has lowered to 0.14%, i.e., one per 693 persons, in the last period. The rate is expected to be further lowered in this period.
Besides, the changed policy shows long-failing applicants will have more chances to win. A total of 50 times license-plate lottery has been held in Beijing, with 36 times from 2011 to 2013 and 14 times from 2014 to 2016.
