Gasgoo Munich- Orbbec recently signed a 10,000-unit strategic procurement agreement with ACE Robotics and its partners, marking a broader strategic partnership between the two sides.
The partnership centers on robotic vision and high-quality, real-world data acquisition. The goal is to scale the deployment of non-embodied data-collection hardware—aligning visual perception architectures between data-collection terminals and the robots themselves to drive continuous iteration of world models.

Under the deal, Orbbec will supply ACE Robotics with depth cameras, RGB cameras, and non-embodied data-acquisition hardware. It will also offer software integration, customization support, and scaled manufacturing and delivery services tailored to real-world applications.
The hardware will integrate into ACE Robotics' embodied systems and environmental data-collection frameworks, capturing multi-view, real-interaction data to train and refine embodied AI models. Deliveries are already underway, with further shipments set to ramp up.
The two companies had already been collaborating on robotic visual perception, with Orbbec's depth cameras providing vision support for ACE Robotics's environmental sensing projects. This latest agreement extends that partnership into embodied data acquisition.
ACE Robotics relies on full-spatiotemporal, multi-view environmental capture as its engine. Its tech stack features Kairos 3.1—China's first open-source, commercially deployed world model—alongside an embodied generalization brain module. The company has rolled out "Xiaoxin," "Xiaoman," and "Xiaotu" industry solutions, deploying them across hotels, retail, and inspection scenarios.
Orbbec, for its part, is positioning itself as the foundational hardware provider for embodied data acquisition in the physical AI era. It has built a non-embodied data-collection hardware platform spanning EGO (first-person view), UMI (handheld operation), WristCam (wrist-mounted near-field), and Hub (synchronization hub). The company offers services ranging from standardized products to brand customization, contract manufacturing (CM), and joint design manufacturing (JDM).
