This answer has just received an answer that may not please everyone, with Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn saying that they will begin Chinese production soon, but without mentioning a specific date.
Mr. Ghosn hopes that the manufacturer will reach a production volume of 100,000 vehicles within three to five years. Sources within the French government also confirmed the report.
Renault, which entered the Chinese market in 1993, has had a rocky history within the country.
