Gasgoo.com (Shanghai Oct 9)– Shenzhen Municipal Government will provide various subsidies to further promote the development of alternative energy vehicles in China, according to the newly officially issued Trail Measures for the Management of Government Support Funds for the Promotion of Alternative Energy Vehicles(hereinafter referred asTrail Measures).
According to the Trail Measures, the scope of this fund includes the purchase and usage of alternative energy vehicles (the usage of pure electrical public buses is not included here), the construction of charging facilities (including those built for private use by the car companies who own alternative energy vehiclesin Shenzhen), the battery recycle for alternative energy passenger vehicles and other projects approved by Shenzhen Municipal Government.
TheTrail Measures also specifics the amounts of subsidies for different scenarios. The purchase subsidies for pure electrical passenger buses differ from ¥300,000 to ¥500,000 per car, for pure electrical passenger vehicles differ from ¥35,000 to ¥60,000 per car,for fuel cells commercial vehicles is ¥500,000 per car, and for fuel cells passenger vehicles is ¥200,000 per car. The usage subsidies for pure electrical passenger vehicles differ from ¥10,000 to ¥20,000. And as for the subsidies for the constructions of charging facilities,including charging stations, charging points and charging equipment, 30 percent of the total investments will be granted as subsidies.
