Sinotruk Jan-May truck sales rise 51% to 13,080 units

Shanghai, June 12 (Gasgoo.com) Chinese truck-maker Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Ltd. (3808.HK) recently announced that it sold 48,630 trucks in the first five months of this year, up 51.50% year on year. In May, it boosted sales to 13,080 units.



In January-May 2010, Sinotruk produced 68,980 trucks, up 70.54% from a year earlier. In May, it produced 15,980 trucks.

In addition, the company's controller China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co Ltd., or Sinotruk Group, announced that its vehicle output reached 20,580 units and vehicle sales came to 20,935 units in May.

In January-May 2010, the Group's vehicle output grew 70.10% y/y to 96,191 units and its vehicle sales increased 70.33% y/y to 98,937 units.
