China has issued its sixth automobile recall order of this month.
In the latest in a series of intensive recalls, both domestic and imported cars have been involved in the September recalls.
In only 11 days, six car companies have had a total of 10 models recalled.
More than 14,000 Ford Mondeo and nearly 3,000 S-MAX were recalled due to braking problems.
The domestically-produced Chery Riich was also recalled, as were imports, such as Kia’s three models; imported Wranglers, import Ferraris and imported Ford Windstars.
The largest recall was Kia’s Soul, involving nearly 9,300 cars.
