According to the report, the average age for Chinese sedan owners is 34.4 years. Sedans make the choice vehicle for female buyers, with 43.1 percent of all sedan owners being women. Meanwhile, men make up 77.7 percent of all minivan owners.

SUVs, on the other hand, see lower sales than other vehicles, with average owner age and income also being higher. On average, sedan buyers are most concerned with vehicles appearance, safety and comfort, while fuel usage is the biggest point of concern for SUV and minivan buyers.
