SynDexy dexterous manipulation humanoid robot, completes first small-batch delivery

Gasgoo Munich- According to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence, SynDexy announced on Oct. 30 that its in-house dual-arm wheeled humanoid robot, the SynDexy C1, has completed its first small-batch delivery. The milestone marks the product's transition from R&D validation into engineering-grade deliveries.

The units are headed for precision assembly lines at consumer electronics and component factories. Such tasks demand near-exacting precision and consistency — the toughest hurdle to clear when putting humanoids on the factory floor. Whether a robot's "hands" hold steady reveals itself the moment it hits the line. In prior testing, the SynDexy C1 notched a success rate above 98% on critical tasks.

The C1 is SynDexy's first humanoid built for dexterous manipulation, with vision-tactile fusion at its core.

On the hardware side, C1 features in-house vision-tactile sensors with micron-level spatial resolution. On the software side, it runs SynDexy M1 — what the company calls the world's first vision-tactile-force tri-state fusion model — to sharpen environmental perception by merging visual, tactile, and force data. The robot packs 22 degrees of freedom and claims 1-millisecond real-time motion control. Delivering working units for precision assembly proves the vision-tactile fusion approach can carry a prototype onto the factory floor.

The C1 went from R&D to delivery in just six months: development kicked off in April 2026, a first-gen prototype was ready by July, and small-batch deliveries followed in October. That pace reflects a broader industry shift — the race is no longer about who drafts the most complete blueprint, but who can push a product onto a live production line the fastest.

SynDexy describes its philosophy as "from the scenario, to the line," meaning product specs and engineering are both driven by the hard metrics of actual factory demand.

Founded in 2025 and led by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) Professor Fang Bin, SynDexy is a full-stack embodied AI company focused on high-precision industrial dexterity. It has developed its own dual-arm wheeled humanoids, vision-tactile hardware, and fine-manipulation models — covering the full pipeline from perception and data to modeling. The tech is already deployed in high-precision tasks like flexible circuit assembly and cable insertion.

Even so, small-batch deliveries are a far cry from mass production. The C1's stability and cost control will hinge on future orders and far longer runs on the factory floor.
