Gasgoo Munich- At the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai on July 17, 2026, the National Center and Ruyi Power took the wraps off the DynaLoong series robot controller. Designed with mass production in mind, this "big and small brain" computing platform aims to bridge the gap between lab demonstrations and real-world deployment for embodied intelligence — emerging as one of the event's most anticipated hardware reveals.

China’s AI-related industries have already surpassed the 1 trillion yuan mark, with adoption rates in key sectors topping 80%. As the industry’s focus shifts from technical validation to reliable, large-scale deployment, the DynaLoong series leverages a collaborative "big and small brain" architecture — handling motion control and high-level decision-making, respectively.

The "small brain" controller ditches traditional split designs in favor of a dual-core integrated solution, cutting down on wiring and potential failure points to boost overall reliability. With 6 TOPS of NPU power and support for CAN FD, Gigabit Ethernet, and EtherCAT, it enables microsecond-level clock synchronization — optimizing motion precision even in dynamic environments.

The "big brain," meanwhile, delivers up to 560 TOPS of AI compute and 400K DMIPS of CPU power. Paired with a 10K DMIPS real-time MCU and 64GB of LPDDR5 memory, it can locally run large-parameter models like Pi0 while compressing Model Predictive Control (MPC) latency to under 20 milliseconds.
Interface options include five Gigabit Ethernet ports, 12 GMSL channels, eight CAN FD links, and an automotive T1 connector. It’s compatible with a range of sensors — including GMSL cameras and LiDAR — while supporting WiFi, Bluetooth, and 4G/5G connectivity.
Built on automotive-grade manufacturing expertise and industrial-grade component standards, the controller emphasizes environmental adaptability and long-term stability in mass production scenarios, according to the National Center and Ruyi Power.
Drawing on the National Center’s work in open-source robotics ecosystems and standardization, combined with Ruyi Power’s edge computing and automotive engineering experience, the partnership aims to transform robots that can merely "run" into products capable of long-term operation, stable delivery, and mass replication.
Following the launch, both parties plan to deepen collaboration across the supply chain, pushing embodied intelligence from "usable" to "practical" and accelerating its path to large-scale adoption.
