Gasgoo Munich- The 9th China International Import Expo opened in Shanghai on November 5. Webasto is marking its 125th anniversary with its ninth consecutive appearance. The supplier unveiled four innovations: the 3D SIG, Future Smart Cockpit, Extra-large Dual-opening Panoramic Roof, and Integrated Roller Blind Sunroof. These highlight technical advancements in intelligence, comfort, and low-carbon solutions.

The 3D SIG features a glass-laminate structure with a physical sunshade between two roof panes. This design balances thermal insulation, sun protection, headroom, and cost efficiency. It also integrates features such as ambient starlight and roof cinema systems.
The Future Smart Cockpit features a large, openable soft-top folding roof and a roof cinema system. The Extra-large Dual-opening Panoramic Roof allows front and rear glass panels to open simultaneously, offering a 66% opening area. The Integrated Roller Blind Sunroof combines shading, lightweight design, and cabin space through structural integration.

Several products Webasto showcased at previous CIIE events have entered mass production. These include the autonomous smart roof module, Extra-large Dual-opening Panoramic Roof, and roof cinema system.
