On January 16, Gasgoo reported that WeRide's global Robotaxi fleet officially entered the "1,000-unit era" as of January 12, 2026, reaching 1,023 vehicles.
The company plans to deploy tens of thousands of Robotaxis worldwide by 2030.
WeRide has already expanded into more than 10 core cities globally. It operates fully driverless commercial Robotaxi services in Guangzhou, Beijing, and Abu Dhabi, with the Abu Dhabi fleet nearing single-vehicle profitability.
