Gasgoo Munich- On August 19, Vbot took the stage at the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC) to unveil its full family of products.
At the event, the Vbot ATOM — a humanoid embodied intelligent terminal designed for living spaces — made its debut and opened for pre-orders. Simultaneously, the "Big Head EDU-W Wheel-Legged Edition" was launched at a price of 49,988 yuan. Additionally, Vbot Power introduced its Vbot Embodied Genome technology system and three core models.
Standing 1.6 meters tall, the Vbot ATOM features extended arms and legs to maximize its operational reach and mobility. It offers a single-arm operating radius of 80 centimeters, an arm span of 180 centimeters, and 95-centimeter legs.

In terms of dexterity, the ATOM utilizes 31 degrees of freedom across its body: two in the head, 14 in the arms, three in the waist, and 12 in the legs. "The seven degrees of freedom per arm allow for more versatile postures, while the three in the waist facilitate bending movements," explained Zhao Zhelun, co-founder and product president at Vbot Power. "The two in the head carry over the natural interaction design philosophy from our Big Head series."
Beyond mechanics, the ATOM carries forward Vbot's design language. It interacts intuitively via a facial screen and ear-based lighting effects, while its body is wrapped in fabric and equipped with noise-dampening soles to minimize sound during indoor movement.
Zhao revealed that the ATOM will be available in personal, enterprise, and developer editions to suit various users and scenarios. However, he noted that the model on display is a first-generation unit, with Vbot Power aiming to begin deliveries by the end of the year.
The Big Head EDU-W Wheel-Legged Edition, meanwhile, reaches a top speed of 2.5 meters per second — roughly 9 km/h — and offers 50% greater energy efficiency than the standard Big Head EDU under uniform testing conditions.
With the Big Head, Big Head EDU, and Big Head EDU-W Wheel-Legged Edition now released, Vbot Power is looking ahead. "Next year, we plan to introduce specialized quadrupeds: one focused on guide services and another on outdoor load-bearing, aiming to transform applications through product innovation," Zhao stated.
