Gasgoo.com (Shanghai November 4) - The city of Xi'an, the provincial capital of Shaanxi, announced that new subsidy legislation for new energy vehicles have been approved, China Quality Daily reported today. According to the legislation, individuals and organizations purchasing new energy automobiles are eligible to enjoy the subsidies. The policies will be in effect from November 21 of 2013 to the end of 2015.
The subsidies will cover eligible pure electric vehicles, hybrid new energy passenger automobiles and fuel-cell powered vehicles. Fuel emission standards for vehicles in 2014 and 2015 will be five percent and ten percent less than 2013 standards, respectively.
