Gasgoo Munich-Since the reveal, crowds of interested buyers have flooded showrooms to see the car in person, with many urging the brand to let them experience how it drives on the road. He Xiaopeng, chairman and CEO of XPENG, stated that starting July 10, offline stores nationwide will begin offering test drives for the XPENG MONA L03 in batches, giving prospective buyers a chance to feel the vehicle's overall performance firsthand.
In terms of development benchmarks, the XPENG MONA L03 was engineered to the standards of vehicles in the 300,000 yuan class across core dimensions like chassis tuning, interior materials, and the entire safety system. On the configuration front, every pre-sale version comes standard with a high-level intelligent driving system. Optimized for urban scenarios, the system handles complex road conditions ranging from car-following and obstacle avoidance to navigating intersections.
XPENG asserts that the actual driving experience of its intelligent system rivals that of flagship SUVs priced above 500,000 yuan.

Positioned squarely at younger consumers, the model is built on the belief that advanced intelligent driving shouldn't be the exclusive domain of high-end, expensive vehicles. Young drivers, in the company's view, deserve access to complete, usable city-driving features—a philosophy that shaped the car's configuration strategy.
In today's fragmented new-energy vehicle market, most entry-level models either offer advanced driving features as options or strip them out entirely. By making the system standard across the entire lineup, the MONA L03 carves out a distinct competitive edge.
The recent spike in showroom traffic reflects the market's keen interest in this global model. Once test drives fully open on July 10, the hands-on experience will likely play a decisive role in shaping consumer purchasing decisions.
