Beijing are selling off their lovely collection of Olympic Audi A6L - L standing for Long, or Lengthened edition. The A6L's were used primarily by high up Olympic officials during the Olympic period, and now that the Olympics and the Paralympics are nearly over, Beijing are keen to rid themselves of a few cars.

The cars, which total 888, are all 2.0 Turbo models, were used to escort state dignitaries, high up Olympic officials, Chinese state leaders, as well as foreign leaders and ambassadors. Potential buyers need not worry about dings in the metal work, or ciggerate burns in the seats, as the fleet of Audis were looked after by 140 technicians during the games, and were inspected night and day by a commitee of inspectors to make sure the cars were upto scratch for collecting VIP’s, and most of the cars have around 2,000km on the clock.

The original sales price of the Olympic Audi A6l 2.0l Turbo is 398,000rmb.
