68 Chinese companies attend Hannover auto show
Shanghai, September 26 (Gasgoo.com) 68 Chinese companies are present at the 62nd International Automobil-ausstellung (IAA) held in Hannover, Germany from September 25 to October 2, China Auto News said today.
IAA, the most influential commercial vehicles show in the world, has attracted automakers from 47 countries and regions this year.
A total of 1986 CV makers have registered for the show, overpassing the 1556 enterprises a year before, Matthias Wissmann, head of Association of the German Automotive Industry (VDA, or Verband Deutscher Automobilhersteller), said to more than 200 reporters from European countries.
Chinese companies at the IAA are mainly engaged in auto parts, trading and technology exchange, such as Weifang Airui Brake Systems Co., Changzhou Tangde International Trading Co, FAW Shandong Special Automobile Works, Beijing Dong Sheng Quan Lian International Convention & Expo Co., among some others.
According to local German media, the concerned forum and exchange activities during the IAA period will mainly focus on three sectors: the exchange meeting on the potential of developing countries market; the keynote speeches by top authorities from global CV giants, such as Daimler managing committee member's speech on the fuel efficient CV and Man AG director's speech on information and safety technology; the exchange activities on CV latest technology and design concept.
It is reported that the VDA will conduct several programmes on the emerging markets, including the Indian special project, Russian market and Turkish market.
