Shanghai, October 7 (Gasgoo.com) Chinese carmaker Brilliance Auto, a partner of BMW, is showcasing four models of its Zhonghua brand -- Zhonghua Junjie, Zhonghua Zunchi, Zhonghua Coupe and Zhonghua Junjie FRV at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, auto.sina.net said today.

As one of the most important auto shows in the world, Paris Motor Show is a great opportunity for Chinese carmakers to boost their international image. Global media at the auto show say high of Brilliance vehicles for their high quality, good workmanship, and delicate design.

The French newspaper Le Parisien reported on October 6 that the world-wide financial crisis drives down purchasing power and will push consumers to the cheaper and economic Asian automobiles. The report also cited a French customer wandering around the Brilliance platform as saying: “I know it’s made by China. So what? I see it’s almost the same with Mercedes-Benz in quality.”
