Company: FAW Car Co. (000800.SZ) is a unit of China's largest automaker, FAW Group, and makes the Red Flag cars once favored by Communist Party cadres. It also makes mid-sized sedans for Mazda Motor Corp (7261.T).
Note: The company published unaudited results, compiled under domestic accounting standards, in the official Securities Times on Monday.
It attributed its earnings fall partly to 93.25 million yuan ($13.6 million) in provisions for possible inventory losses in the first nine months of this year.
