Hafei vice president to head Chrysler marketing

Shanghai, November 6 (Gasgoo.com) The vice president of Harbin Hafei Automobile Industry Group has left the company recently, less than one year after taking the job, the Beijing-based Jinghua newspaper reported today.

After Hafei Auto, Cao Zhigang will now go to head the marketing and importing businesses of Chrysler China, the newspaper cited an informed source as saying.

Cao joined Shanghai VW in 1986 and was briefly appointed the deputy general manager of SAIC GM Wuling Automobile Co's sales unit. By the end of 2007 he began to take his current job at Hafei Automobile.

No reasons behind Cao's job transfer were disclosed.
