Ichikoh plans $41 mln China auto-parts factory

Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Ichikoh Industries Ltd., a supplier of headlight lamps and mirrors to Toyota Motor Corp., will build a factory in China by 2010 to make metal moulds for auto parts, the Nikkei newspaper reported today.

The Tokyo-based manufacturer plans to spend as much as 4 billion yen ($41 million) on the plant, which will supply customers including Valeo SA of France, Nikkei said without saying where it got the information.

Valeo, Europe's third-largest maker of auto-parts, is the largest shareholder in Ichikoh, with a 32 percent stake according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
