Dongfeng Nissan New Teana, a middle-end sedan which was launched in June this year, posted sales of 5,501 units in October, while its two TIIDA models sold 13,249 units in total. Compact car model Bluebird Sylphy and Qashqai, a crossover vehicle, reported sales of 4,028 and 2,158 units, respectively. 4,932 Livinas and 2,052 Livina C-gears were sold in the month.

According to statistics from the China Passenger Car Association, the sales volume ranks the fourth in the country and the sales growth tops among all car manufacturers in China.

The strong growth momentum was attributed to the appropriate product strategy and the strong sales of some major vehicle types, said industry insiders.
