Mitsubishi Eclipse launched at Guangzhou show
Shanghai, November 20 (Gasgoo.com) The 2009 Mitsubishi restyled Eclipse finally had its price details released in China at the ongoing Guangzhou Auto Show, starting at $29,800 yuan ($4,363), auto website cheshi.com reported.
The model exhibited at the show is equipped with a 2.4-liter, 162-horsepower, four-cylinder MIVEC engine with a maximum power of 121kW (162hp).
In China, Mitsubishi Corp.'s local unit has been importing and selling Mitsubishi vehicles since 2005.
The sales of Mitsubishi autos in China had kept an annual growth of about 200% in the 2006 and 2007 fiscal years. And from the beginning of this fiscal year to September 2008, the Mitsubishi sales reached 6,910 cars.
