Haima to sell Huandong hatchback in Dec

Shanghai, November 25 (Gasgoo.com) At the Guangzhou auto show, Haima Auto formally named its all-new hatchback Haima H11 as Huandong ("happy move"), and the Haima Huandong hatchback will be go on sale early next month, said xinhuanet.com today.

The 1.8L Huandong model will have four variants available: comfort manual, luxury manual, comfort automatic and luxury automatic, and they are expected to sell between 80,000 yuan ($11,710) and 100,000 yuan. Haima Auto's 4S stores in Beijing have started to receive ordering for the Huandong hatchback, and customers can deposit a small upfront fee for a priority delivery of the vehicle.

In appearance, the Haima Huandong features the Italy's I.DE.A classic design, highlighting the dynamic vitality of the model. The front face is fashionably designed. The in-house R&D team of Haima Auto has spent three years developing this hatchback car by using the cutting-edge technology of auto-making to make it "dynamic, stylish, avant-garde, and smart."

Huandong uses the re-tuned HA-VIS-1.8 II engine, which can generate more sufficient power. The manual edition can save fuel by 10% and the CVT-equipped versions can save gasoline by 15%. The control system and chassis have been fine-tuned by a seasoned Japanese professional who has worked for BMW 1, 3, 5 series.

The Haima Huandong's CVT transmission, produced by famous European transmission company Punch Powertrain and also used in BMW's MINI Cooper, offers the six-speed manual mode.
