China aims to sell 10 million vehicles in 2009
Shanghai, January 8 (Gasgoo.com) Zhang Xiaoyu, honorary director-general of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAMM), said Chinese auto industry would meet output and sales targets of 10 million vehicles each in 2009, auto163.net said.
In the imported vehicles forum held on Jan.6, Zhang said China's auto industry would give priority to the development of own-brand products.
The country's National Development and Reform Commission announced in a recent report that 10 million vehicles would be the lowest target for the auto industry in 2009, Zhang said.
