Shanghai, January 22 (Gasgoo.com) Cadillac, General Motors' luxury vehicle brand, debuted its next-generation Cadillac SRX in production form at the North American International (Detroit) Auto Show on Jan.12.

The all-new SRX will go on sale in America in the third quarter and will land China by the end of this year, Beijing Times reported.

The new 2010 Cadillac SRX is a luxury crossover featuring the elements of the sedan, SUV and wagon. It comes with a 3.0 liter V6 with direct injection derived from the 3.6 liter unit in the Cadillac CTS, and a 2.8 liter turbocharged V6. The V6 engine reportedly can improve the fuel efficiency of SRX by 10%-15%.

The all-new SRX will rival BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz LRS.
