Guangzhou Honda to have new general manager

Shanghai, March 4 (Gasgoo.com) Guangzhou Honda (GAC Honda) has announced the appointment of Hironori Kanayama to the position of the company's president starting April 1, according to the company's press release issued on Feb. 27.

Hironori Kanayama joined Guangzhou Honda as sales director during July, 1998 - Sept. 2003 and then held general manager position at Honda Motor (China) Investment Co. Before heading up to Guangzhou Honda as president, Hironori Kanayama has worked for Honda headquarters as Honda's Chinese business president since Oct., 2007.

Eiji Okawara, the current Guangzhou Honda president, will return to Honda headquarters in Japan on April 1. He'll hold general manager position in Honda Engineering Co located in Japan.
